PoliciesAcceptable Use PolicyGeneralRegistrationBy registering to be a member of Neverside, you automatically agree to all of these terms. You also agree to only register one username, not several. If caught doing so, immediate banning will take place. We have to make room for everyone afterall. Member ConductNeverside, is an international community serving to all races, genders, religions, countries, etc. Members of Neverside are expected and they are required to show the absolute respect for one another's origins. As outlined in the Terms of Service(TOS) we will take the steps needed to make sure that everyone recieves the same respect, regardless of origins. We also enforce a positive & constructive atmosphere, we do not condone negativity nor the absence of contstructive commenting. Do unto others as you would expect to be done to you. Slander, name calling & various behaviors of negativity will result in discipline as outlined by our TOS. Malicious activity is something our security team is always on the lookout for. Any user attempts to bypass our security, gain access, etc. will be dealt with accordingly upto reporting your IP to the respective authorities. Community Pride to Community PrideOften, Members of communities will comment on how great their community, or a community they belong to is as opposed to ours and often make cruel & negative remarks about our community. While we at Neverside believe this to be poor class, we do not wish to return the attention. We also expect the same of our members, we know you may love Neverside, you may even hate it. However, we do ask that you do not get involved when someone comes around here to say such things. That includes going to their community, and doing so. If you are found to be doing such things, you will be warned accordingly. Neverside's purpose is to break new grounds in community development, stay true to our goals and expand our horizons. In doing that, Neverside also runs a Cross-Community-Development(CCD) program, to work with other communities on making each other more aware of rippers & fraud among our communities. We do this so we can maintain a professional atmosphere, and to protect our members no matter where they go. While the communities who obviously feel the need to insult and/or degrade our community will probably never be in the program, we don't expect our member's to pay them attention as it's low class to do such things. If you have a problem with a member on here doing such things, please report it to the staff immediately. Freedom of SpeechThe biggest debate in every community is the member's right to express their feelings.. often this is based off the 1st Amendment in the Constitution of the United States of America. Neverside, in it's entirety, while based in the USA does not base it's freedom of speech off of the Constitution. We offer many freedoms, and ways for member's to express their opinions, we also offer options for member's to ignore these members or censor the "Bad Words". The administration of Neverside will take the steps needed to ensure the protection of it's member's from hate crimes, and other forms of violent and vulgar behavior that are often confused with the Freedom of Speech clause. If you feel you are being attacked by another member, use the appropriate methods to contact the staff. Such is, reporting a post, Private Message(PM), or open a trouble ticket and we will look into it immediately. Right to Petition ChangeNeverside prides itself on being the Member's Community, Neverside got here by it's dedication to follow what our member's have asked for, and demanded of the community. Therefore, we encourage member's to have an open perspective in contacting us about their suggestions, we may not agree with everything, but it is the member's right, as a member of Neverside, to petition a change in policy, or an addition to the community. At times, we will send out special notices to your MyNeverside panel, in the home area, asking you to take surveys, or simply offer up an opinion on a project we're working on. It is your right to take these, or not to take them, however, by not taking them, you are admitting to Default that you have no issues whatsoever with your experience of Neverside. Community ForumsFollow The TopicWe aim for all of the topics that come up in the forums, to remain on topic and not turn into wars or personal opinions that derive from the topic. Therefore, we ask that if you are not sure with what is going on, to either not contribute, or ask for further clarification. No one wants someone to be trashing their thread with unnecessary comments. Proper Use of Private MessagingWe encourage our members to use the PM system if they are trying to get intouch with another member or staff member. Using a thread to get in touch with them usually has the grounds to lead to spam. Post Content & OwnershipWe enforce anti-piracy & legit activity on the boards. Therefore, topics must be the same. We allow the discussion of File Sharing and it's technologies (Peer2Peer, Torrent, USENET, etc.), we however, do not condone the trafficing of sites that contain questionable downloads. We also do not allow the linking of websites that contain pornography, or other forms of adult material.. reason for being, not everyone in the community is of either proper age, their religion doesn't allow it, or their country does not. Ownership of the posts, belong to the author and Neverside. After 3 hours of posting, the posts become sole property of Neverside and their author & may not be editted without proper approval from the staff. Reason for this is, we are liable for all content posted on here, therefore, we reserve the right to restrict editting the posts after a certain period of time. The Administration of Neverside, reserves the right to lock, modify, edit and remove posts at our discretion and without explanation. |
